Having grown up in rural NSW, Dr Campbell understands how important it is to provide comprehensive care to people living in regional and remote regions.  She provides an easy and convenient way for patients to have consults over a scheduled video appointment.  Telemedicine allows for patient-focused discussions, image review, and development of a customised treatment plan without the inconvenience of long-distance travel.  She will involve your local GP in your care plan.
In addition, Dr Campbell provides telemedicine appointments in the post-operative period for all of her patients, if they wish, to avoid the need to travel into her clinic.

Dr Campbell is an experienced medico-legal practitioner.  Her reports are objective, considered, and of high quality.  She understands the legal and ethical responsibilities of an independent medical examiner.
She provides independent medical examinations on behalf of claimants, insurers, self-insurers, workers' compensation, compulsory third parties, and other personal injury matters. She provides case and file reviews for medical defence proceedings.

Medicolegal qualifications

      • American Board of Independent Medical Examiners: certified examiner for assessment under AMA Guidelines 5th Edition
      • WorkSafe/GEPI: certified assessor in WorkSafe Queensland’s Guides for the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment for Spine and Lower limb

Appointment Fees

For new patients or a recurring patient with a new injury/condition, an appointment with Dr Campbell is $300.  Medicare will rebate patients by approximately $78. For review appointments, Dr Campbell charges $110.  Medicare will rebate patients by approximately $39.
Should surgery be required, your first post-operative consultation is included in the surgical fee.

Surgery Fees

For surgical procedures, the fee charged is dependent on the length and complexity of the surgery. Dr Campbell charges what is referred to as a “known gap” of $500 for surgical procedures.  This means that in most cases, along with any excess that your policy may have, you will be out of pocket $500.  This is well below the out-of-pocket expenses recommended by the Australian Medical Association (please note, Dr Campbell's fees will increase in 2025).
There may also be gap payments for the anaesthetist and the surgical assistant. All patients will be provided with a detailed quote prior to surgery. More information about health insurance be found here.
